Our team is comprised of professionals who are committed to seeking investment opportunities with a common theme of partnering with the best entrepreneurs who are building companies to change the global economy. Our family has a 160 year legacy of successful entrepreneurship in Colorado beginning in the 1860s as they arrived as pioneers seeking opportunity and adventure in the American West. They established businesses in retail, mining, ranching, investing, energy, transportation and healthcare. We are focused on continuing this tradition of entrepreneurship by applying our capital, effort and operational expertise in building successful organizations.
Sean Marsh - Founder / CEO / CIO
Sean has been an active technology investor for over 30 years. Inspired by his father, Dr. Steve Marsh, who was an active angel investor, Sean began making investments in personal computing companies in the late 1980s. He co-founded Inside Edge in 2016 after a successful career as a venture capitalist. He founded multiple venture capital firms and had the opportunity to invest in many highly successful entrepreneurs during the 1990s and 2000s. Simultaneous with the founding of Inside Edge Ventures, Sean also joined Appcast, Inc. as its Chief Financial Officer. Appcast was a new and innovative Internet recruitment technology company founded by a tremendous entrepreneur named Chris Forman. Sean was the lead venture capital investor in the Appcast Series A round in 2015. Appcast proceeded to grow into a company with hundreds of employees and many hundreds of millions in revenue. In 2019, Sean led the sale of a majority of the company to Stepstone (the third largest Internet recruitment platform in the world). Sean continued as the CFO of Appcast, leading global finance, M&A, legal, risk, business and technology operations until 2023. He continued as an Advisor for Appcast until 2025 and he now lives in Colorado, coaches the Aspen High School Alpine Ski Racing Team and skis with his family as many days per week as possible.
Finding and backing the most extraordinary entrepreneurs is the predominant lesson he learned as a professional venture capitalist and the lesson he continues to focus on at Inside Edge Ventures.
Killian Marsh - Investment Analyst / Co-owner
Killian began working with Inside Edge in 2020 and has been instrumental in helping to organize and expand the firm's public company investing approach. He is involved in all aspects of public and private investing activities including portfolio construction and management, investment research, and investment opportunity identification. Killian has a proven record of identifying profitable investments for Inside Edge Ventures. He joined Inside Edge to learn about technology investing while leveraging his deep interest in computing, gaming and technologically enabled automobiles.
He currently attends the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado focused on entrepreneurship and management. He works throughout the year at Fulcrum Wealth Consulting at Raymond James. He also works at Selten Automotive, a boutique/exotic car dealer in Boulder.
Killian is passionate about skiing, technology and exotic cars. He also enjoys hiking and travel.

Kahler Marsh - Investment Intern / Co-owner
Kahler began working with Inside Edge in 2022 and has focused on the firm's public company research in the consumer and entertainment sectors. She joined Inside Edge to learn about investing and business while leveraging her passion for consumer products and music.
She currently attends Aspen High School where she is a two sport varsity captain (Softball and Alpine Ski Team) and she plays club lacrosse for Denver Pride.
She also enjoys playing the guitar, hiking, travel and the rodeo.
Lochlan Marsh - Investment Intern / Co-owner
Lochlan began working with Inside Edge in 2022 and has focused on the firm's public company research in technology and aerospace. He joined Inside Edge to learn about investing and business while leveraging his passion for flying and technology.
Lochlan is an FAA licensed Private Pilot. He currently attends Aspen High School where he is a varsity captain (Alpine Ski Team) and he is a four year member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams.
He also enjoys hiking, exotic cars and travel.
